Hi 5 Netball festival
On Thursday 1st February LMPS took 2 netball teams over to Allenbourne Middle school to participate in a Hi5 netball festival.

On Thursday 1st February LMPS took 2 netball teams over to Allenbourne Middle school to participate in a Hi5 netball festival.
On Friday 26th January, we had Mike & Charlie from Sturminster Marshall Golf Club in school, they did a whole school assembly and then spent time with Year 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 – teaching the children golf during the day.
Last half term Year 3 had a fantastic visit from The RSPB, they came in to talk to us about animal habitats and discussed with the children where animals live and why.
On Wednesday 17th January, a team of 16 children from Years 5 and 6 went to Canford School to compete at the East Dorset swimming gala.
On Thursday, December 14th, Year 6 performed a heart-warming musical about a young chimney sweep in Victorian England.
The children had a great time at school with the run up to Christmas!
Everyone at LMPS are extremely proud of Willow White, in Woodpecker Class. Willow took part in the Lions Swimarathon at the Purbeck sports centre Wareham.
The children in Reception and Year 1 have worked so hard in preparing for the show and loved learning all the new songs, which they sang beautifully.
On Tuesday 5th December, at 5pm, Lytchett Matravers had its first turning on of the Christmas Tree lights outside Tesco store.
A big congratulations to Sebastian Richards, in Swan Class, for taking part in the Reindeer Run at Moors Valley Country Park.
On Monday 27th November, Mrs Foster and four children from Year 5 and 6 took part in a maths workshop.
On Friday 24th November, a team of 16 children from Years 5 and 6 went to Queen Elizabeth’s school in Wimborne to compete at the year’s first swimming gala festival.
